This policy explains how PDF Evidence Studio handles information through this website and the current pre-release Windows application.
Information you provide
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. Please do not send client documents, confidential audit evidence, passwords, financial account details, or other sensitive information through email.
Website information
The website’s hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs. PDF Evidence Studio does not currently use advertising trackers or sell personal information.
Release updates
If you join the release-update list, we collect your name and email address. We use that information to send product availability and development updates. It is stored until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe option.
Local document processing
The current PDF Evidence Studio application is designed to process opened documents on the user’s Windows computer. Core review, marking, evidence capture, comparison, OCR search, and export functions operate locally. Documents and scans are not uploaded to a remote document-processing service as part of those core functions.
Software update checks
The application may contact the PDF Evidence Studio update service to determine whether a newer software version is available. The update check is not designed to transmit the contents of documents opened in the application.
How information is used
Information received through email is used to answer questions, provide requested release information, improve the product, protect the website, and maintain relevant business records.
Sharing and sale
PDF Evidence Studio does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be processed by service providers that support website hosting and business email, or disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
Retention and choices
Messages and related records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which they were received, legitimate business needs, or legal requirements. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing natia@pdfevidencestudio.com. Some information may be retained where legally permitted or required.
Changes
This policy may change as the product adds downloads, licensing, payments, analytics, support tools, or optional online services. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
